Eric Wolak, DNP, MHA, RN, NEA-BC, has held various leadership roles during his twenty-three year nursing career. This has included being a Clinical Nurse Specialist, an Assistant Nurse Manger, a Nurse Manager, a Nursing Director. Dr. Wolak is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nurse Officer for University of North Carolina (UNC) Health Chatham. He is also an adjunct professor for UNC School of Nursing and UNC School of Public Health. As his role as Chief Operating Officer, he is accountable to the daily operations of UNC Health Chatham, including Nursing, Laboratory Services, Imaging, Clinical Education, and Infection Control. Dr. Wolak received his NE-BC in 2010 and his NEA-BC in 2015 and has led multiple teams in various healthcare settings.
